My Lover says girls can't 'do' football. Sexist and patronising? Probably. But in my mid-40s suddenly it feels like a challenge.
So I'm learning about football. I'm finding out about the love and the passion. The joys and the sorrows.
And the perils of eating too many pies.
Maybe not appropriate given our hostess's opinion of them... but look at Leeds. They escaped back up (despite losing manager, assistant manager, solvency and 15 point), no reason why Leicester can't.
What are the thoughts on the manager? Main reason I'm asking is that at the opposite end of all this, you've got Avram Grant. He's taken a stale squad, no visible support from the chairman (he's gone AWOL, I think), a bad start to the season... and got Chelsea into their first ever European cup final and still within a sniff of taking the Premiership.
And yet a large number of fans want him out. I don't get that.
mosher: Thanks for the encouraging words! I can't see how Hollow Way can stay. You are right about AG though. He is getting a raw deal. How do you follow an act like Mourhino though?
cunningfox: You are right. There are no words
areallaticfromthesouth:Couldn't get the pic to work but thanks for the thought. Thanks for your kind words on Sunday too. Boo Hoo!!
stuey: Of course. Doesn't stop it hurting though does it.......
Just a question - Is there no blame on Mandaric? How can Leicester expect to acheive anything with the amount of managers that have past through The Walkers since he took over - Martin Allen, Gary Megson and the like? Try copy and paste.
I heard Mandaric interviewed and he was blaming everyone bar himself. Unfortunately for Hollow Way though MM is the man with the power whih is why I am sure he will go. Tried copy and paste but think some of it may be missing. Can you email it?
Think of all the new teams you could play next season! And the match tickets might be cheaper...
ReplyDeleteWhat can any Foxes fan say? This feels worse than relegation from the Premier league.

Commiserations. These things are just transitory though. Keep the faith...Foxes will be back.
