Following The Egg Chasers


Something terrible has happened!

My daughter has been to watch an egg chasers match!

I mean to my knowledge its the first top level match of any sort she has been to. And it wasn't a football match.

Her explanation is that it was a birthday treat for her boyfriend.

It might not be too late though. She says she couldn't see very well because she was surrounded by tall people.

I think a bit of mother daughter bonding at the Walkers Stadium is called for.

    What is it they say ? Rugger is a game for thugs played by gentlemen and footy, a game for gentlemen, played by thugs.

    I just think Rugby is there for posh boys to exercise their penchant, for seeing others getting down and.....er....dirty.

    Tis Gladiatorial though ?

    But oh yes, that was posh boys watching poor boys kill each other too.

    Scrums remind me of the First World War.

    Four-two-two reminds me of landing on the moon. That's the difference !

    There is nothing wrong with supporting the other code. In fact I find that by supporting LCFC (foxes), LFC (tigers) and RFC (royals) there is rarely a weekend when I cannot be cheered by someone winning.
    This weekend is already 1 lost, 1 won and I have still got the pleasure of watching the mighty LCFC perform on tele ce soir.
