Mandaric quits!
Imagine if that had been the headline last week.
Milan Mandaric has revealed today that he
nearly left the world of football following his arrest.
If he is innocent, (
and my belief is that he will be vindicated), you have to feel for a man who has had one of his most precious assets, his honour, damaged.
I'm not surprised he didn't quit though. People who have suceeded in the way Mandaric has are not going to be people who
throw in the towel at the drop of a hat. He is what
this commentator would call "intrinsically motivated". In other words, he is driven by inner forces such as passion and a sense of purpose rather than money or fame.
I do like a man with staying power.

Joy Duckett Cain has a good point.
"You’ve tried. You’ve cried. Now you’re wondering: Is it over?"
The answer, little bestie...is clearly not......as you rightly say....Mandaric has been around the block. This will have toughened him up for sure.....innocent of all charges.....we'll see ?..I like it that you back your judgements about people....its a good maxim
