My Lover says girls can't 'do' football. Sexist and patronising? Probably. But in my mid-40s suddenly it feels like a challenge.
So I'm learning about football. I'm finding out about the love and the passion. The joys and the sorrows.
And the perils of eating too many pies.
I was unable to see the game last night as I was umpiring a cricket match, a much more skilled game, but was glad that I missed it. As Basil said in Faulty Towers "Don't mention the war"
Walks like a woman and wears a bra.
Georgina Best is not actually my real name. Not at the moment. Although who knows what could happen if I eventually 'do' football at the end of this. I lead a small/medium sized organisation. I am learning about life. About music and love. And now about football.
